There is a controversy about whether a tourism cruise line should stop at the Ladadee beach, which is just 100 miles from Haiti, where thousands of people are struggling on the brink of death. People do not want to go Haiti beach since their moral precepts which draw back the opportunity for Haiti to start recovering from the disaster sooner.

In the firs place, the Royal Caribbean cruise line actually brings factual economic benefit to Haiti. While the economy of Haiti is gloomy and destroyed for the earthquake, every cent from any type is worthy striving. Moreover, any business hold in the area is not only a financial fund for the rebuilding of the country and arrangement of refugees, but also a sort of incentive for future investors, who will spend money in this area to help the country to recover. That is the crucial reason why the cruise will bring benefit to Haiti. In China, there was a similar tragic disaster happened in Sichuan in 2008. The government considers the tourism industry the first industry to revive and it bring tremendous progress and incentive to the local economic recovery. Royal Caribbean cruise are processing the first step to help Haiti. But when people prevent to go to Haiti, it would totally lose this opportunity to restore its tourism industry.

In the second place, tourism plays a primary role in Haiti’s national economy development before the disaster. Now, Haiti has been destroyed by the earthquake. It cannot endure the other loss created by the moral precepts of visitors via stopping cruises which bring them significant economic income.

Finally, no matter how respectful people in other countries show towards the refugees in Haiti, they might only lose even more as tourists have no more interest to visit their country rather than feel any better for the sympathy which withdraws the benefit from tourism.
