How to get driving license
Malaysian who have attained the age of 17 can obtain a D license. Those wanting to get an E license must be 21 years or above. Do not think that this is the same as how to get a motorcycle’s license, as the time and test to be taken are different. Those who want to get the above three classes of license must first of all pass the computer test or also known as ‘Highway Code’ test. This exam is conducted in either English or Bahasa Malaysia. Candidates should passed the computer test and score at least 42/50 of the overall questions if not you’ll need a resit for it. The test include color, rules, sign boards & point deduction test and qualified to start their way for a L license for car.
There are three types of car license available, which is normally called Learner License, Probationary License and Competent Driver license. Secondly, you will firstly go through a 6 hour session. In the first three hour, you have to listen to a talk and the speaker will explain some common mistake of other people during the license P test and you will also be taught how to get mark during the test. Upon completion of the talk, you will be taken to the circuit and a teacher will teach you the basic knowledge which must be know by drivers. The next 3 hours of the Theory class in reality is a Practical lesson conducted by your Instructor on a one to one basis. Here, the course depend on how industrious your instructor is. Normally, you will instruct on car maintenance, namely how to maintain well, things like the radiator, battery, brake fluid, engine oil, fan and air-con belts including also air pressure of the tyres. Then, he will also teach you how to drive for 3 hours. When the lesson finish, you will be granted the L license within a week.
