Infosys was founded in 1981 by seven engineers in Pune, India. Like many young technology firms in India at the time, Infosys started out as an IT body‐shopper a firm that deployed skilled IT labor to work, on a contract basis, at a client’s facility. Infosys is the second largest Indian IT software services company. Infosys has reached pinnacles of success in short span of 20 years, through innovative business strategies and human resource practices. Currently it is facing challenges around balancing between business growth and employee satisfaction. The organization now has current revenue of over $ 2.1 billion and has over 69,000 employees worldwide. Infosys is one of the leading information technology service companies in India that uses an extensive non-US based offshore infrastructure to provide managed software solution to clients worldwide. The company opened up the Global Delivery Model for the development of customized software solutions. This model was based on the principal of taking work where it can be done best, and made the most economic Infosys delivers IT services to its clients gThe subject study is aimed to conceptualize the ways in which a case study can be analyzed. For this purpose the case study of Infosys the leading Indian software designers has been selected titled as “Challenges in Organizing the Global Sales”.
