Who makes the CALL?

Undoubtedly, technology is continuing to break through the barriers of traditional learning styles creating a new perspective in learning. Technology has changed almost everything. With the Internet and our mobile devices, everyone is now connected.

Over the years, technology has significantly improved from what it used to be—cell phones especially. * Cellphones have become medium of cheating. Text messaging is the new note passing. It happens without the teacher knowing because nowadays, students can construct messages without even looking on their keypads.

* It can be used for bullying. Students can take pictures or video that can be dehumanizing.

* It can be detrimental to school safety. Cellphones can cause chaos during bomb and other threats or even trivial student quarrels because of the parents’ rushing to the school.

* It’s hazardous to health because of radiation on constant use.
