1) Its important to remember the basics,

Goal of an interview is to extend you an offer, no one does it for the heck of it. So, go with a goal in mind of getting that job.

After clearing the Vendor interview and getting a client interview means, clients likes you 50% (Background, skills, tools mentioned in your resume) your job is to convince him that you are the right choice for the current requirement.

Keep in mind, You have great company and people behind you, Its always attitude, be positive and motivated, regardless of results.

Telephonic Interview Hack

More and More Employers and Vendors are going for Telephonic Interview:

I will give you 10 points to hack any telephonic interview.

1)Its always important to make connection with the interviewer, its a two way communication, you should let him speak and ask questions, again, be short in your answers, stories are good if they are short (Simple hack is to never go beyond 30 seconds in one go)

2)Have smile on your face, smile shows confidence and breaks ice, on phone be sure to have that smile when you are answering any tough question.

3)Stand and give interview, By standing, you breath nicely and pitch of your voice is different,shows confidence.

4)Pause and think, Take 5 second pause before answering the question, its not a rapid fire round.

5)Famous five hack, its my favorite, before interview, create 5 strong points, 5 skills, 5 project stories, 5 names, 5 locations.

5 strong points : Could be your technical skills, Like I am an analytical person, I like working with data, I am an expert with Teradata etc. Or it could be your business skills, Like I am an expert with Middle Office Management, GAP Analysis, Communication etc.
