What I need to improve on to become an effective team member ?

First of all, I feel disappointed when I get to view my 1st Peer Evaluation results. I get 2.7 over total mark of 5. On behalf of getting better results next time, it’s good for me to have better idea of my strengths and weaknesses.

I scored the highest mark in item 3, which is the willingness to listen and consider ideas of others. This proved that I am a good listener and I wouldn’t force others to accept my ideas even though they might have different opinions. On the other hand, I scored lowest mark for item 7, which is leadership. In my point of view, I didn’t score well for this because I am being too passive during the group meeting. To conquer this problem, I need to read through the team guide again so that I can provide some type of direction in the project. Furthermore, I need to have more confident and being active to deliver my ideas and opinions to my teammates instead of just blindly following others during the meeting.

For item 1, 2 and 4, I get a fair mark and I would put more effort in punctuality and decision making skills as I knew that be punctual for class and meeting and leadership are important for a team. I get 2.5 marks for item 5, 6 and 8. I think I did quite well in item 8 so I have no idea why I get such a low mark. For item 5 and 6, I think I need to be active in delivering my own ideas.

In a nutshell, I get fair marks for my 1st Peer Evaluation, but I am not satisfied with that. So, I will keep my strengths and work harder on my weaknesses.
