A business plan could clearly identify the business opportunity that you have found, could show by what means you could exploit it and explain to the potential investors, i.e. the audience of the business plan why this is an attractive investment. The intention of the investors is very simple; to achieve a good return. In order to evaluate a business plan, investors would consider three main issues. Firstly, they would consider if the business itself will be successful, it is about the sustainability of the business. Sometimes, something may pop-up and become so popular in a sudden such as rubik cube in previous years. However, rubik cube itself has no sustainability at all. There is no foreseeable trend for this product. Thus, the sustainability is very low for this product. Secondly, the potential investors would also consider if they could gain fairly in the deal. If they could not ensure themselves a fair gain, they would not show their interest if how great is the idea since they could not find their gain fulfill their effort. Lastly, there should some kind of liquidity events to get their investment returns realized. Investors would not feel secured until they got their investment returns realized; therefore, this is also an essential part.

In terms of the quality of the plan, Confume could be rated at 4. It includes lots of details such as graphics and statistics to support the potential of the business. These data is objective supports to rest assure that there is an opportunity. It is also appreciative to see that some surveys have been done to gain current market information such as the research about the annoyance about the existing huge bottle design. Their effort in preparing the business plan could also be seen by the appendix like the design of company logo, the design of small fragrance bottle and label sticker, the design of vending machine and the financial statements.
