Abstract

Agency Law is an area within the government of United States that regulate the policies and procedures of all businesses. Some of the organizations that fall under agency law are the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and Occupational Safety Health Administration (OSHA) and in this paper I will examine each segment including the history, principles, liabilities and duties therein. Such governmental segments regulate how businesses operate in their own unique way and the different types of business entities that deal with agency law will be explored. Identification of the different applications of agency law in the business environment will be determined as well as the impacts of each agency on each type of business entity.

Introduction

This paper will concentrate on agency law, how the definition is determined, including the history, principles, liabilities and duties therein. The different types of business entities that deal with agency law will be explored. Identification of the different applications of agency law in the business environment will be determined as well as the impacts of each agency on each type of business entity. Finally, the impact of e-business on the global legal environment will be explained.
