“INTERNATIONAL TREATY”

It is a written agreement between certain subjects of international law and is governed by this, which can consist of one or more related legal instruments, and being indifferent to its name. As long as they are agreement involves at least two people who conclude an international legal international treaty. For example the rulers of each country meet to agree with their limits of countries to avoid problems with their territories.

International treaties must be in writing but may be oral. In the latter case it would be governed by the Vienna Convention of 1969.

His name is irrelevant because, if given the above conditions, we face an international treaty regardless of the name it receives.

Types of Treaties:

According to the art may be, commercial treaties, political, cultural, humanitarian, human rights, or otherwise.

* Depending on the type of obligations created differentiate between: Treaties and Agreements-law-contract. The first setting standards of general application that are legally on a pedestal above the internal laws of the signatory countries, the latter involve an exchange of benefits between contracting parties. This distinction is quite overcome as both special blend.

* Due to the nature of the subjects involved, we distinguish: Treaties between States, between States and International Organizations and between International Organizations.

* For its duration: Treaties differ from fixed-term and indefinite Treaties.

* According to becoming a party without taking part in its negotiation: Treaties open and closed. The latter does not admit new members, so admission implies the conclusion of a new treaty.

* By way of conclusion, we find: Treaties concluded in a solemn and treaties concluded in a simplified form that are...
