Evaluation of McDonald’s Restaurant

We all love eating out, and in terms of deciding where we want to go, we are always spoilt for choice with there being a large number of places that offer different cuisines at prices that suit every wallet. One place that I always like to eat at is a McDonald’s restaurant. In this paper, I discuss and evaluate a McDonald’s restaurant that I frequent a lot to get my lunch or dinner. The purpose of this evaluation is to use a set of criteria that can be used to measure the restaurant, have a discussion on the how the restaurant fares against these criteria to come to a conclusion if the restaurant can be recommended as a good place to visit for other people. The three criteria that I would use to evaluate the restaurant include the variety on available food options, the value that I am getting there in terms of price in relation to other options, and the friendliness of the staff when I go there.

Options to choose from and variety at McDonalds. Even though it is in the fast food business, McDonalds gives it customers a lot of options to choose from, from the different types of burgers, to fries and wraps to ice creams and drinks. It has recently introduced many healthy options also to choose from, catering to the demand and trend towards a healthy lifestyle. Also these options are available in different sizes such as small, regular and large due to which one is able to customize and make their own meal, which is a very good experience for a customer. Though there is a lot of variety as discussed, as a drawback, most of them are still not the healthiest of options, though they are very tasty. This can be considered a weakness which the company is trying to address through the introduction of healthier and green options as part of its menu.
