Should the federal appeals court deny Broom and Miller’s appeal and enforce the decision of the state district court finding upholding the discharge of the two whistleblowers? Explain your reasoning

When answering this question whether the state district finding should be upheld emotions and ethical values should be placed aside. Hence, legally the answer should be yes, due to Broom and Miller not abiding by the proper protocol of following the chain of command and filing the complaint with their immediate supervisor. Further, Oklahoma has an at-will doctrine that states that any employee can be fired for any reason. Although, Broom and Miller had good intentions, in the workforce you must think rationally and follow guidelines. The guidelines, rules and policies in the workplace are in place for a reason and many of the reasons may be unbeknown to us due to legal issues that companies may have endured in the past. Organizations have to be extra careful in managing their business by double checking their work to make sure nothing has been left behind or any errors occurred.

The term of crossing your T’s and dotting your I’s was coined by many organizations in that the T and the I’s look similar to each other and can easily be confused, therefore many organizations use it when warning against not making any procedural mistakes.
