The author used ''surviving progress'' as the title of the documentary to give a first hint of his premise.

That what grabs people into watching the documentary and mostly into thinking of what progress really is .Mathieu Roy,the realisator knew there wasn't a definition to progress, that everyone has its own definition and that it is hard to find a definition to it because there is not really one.He wanted to make people seeing his cover page go crazy about that and grab them into watching his documentary to respond to their thirst of knowing the response and also to another one: ''could we really survive progress?''

Humans and all beings on earth are really creative and intelligent but will their creativity go too far into destroying the world ? That's what Mathieur Roy tried to first show in his documentary cover. He totally puts in evidence a man in a suit, who can immediatly be linked to a politician. The realisator puts him in front and well placed in the middle of the picture to emphasize mostly on him.He tried to propulse the idea of politicians controlling the world and its economics who for exemple create many needs to this society of consumption to only make money. That is their only purpose. But this man on the cover has his head in the earth as if he has done too much, trying to create many profits as he can but instead,he is destroying the world ,exploiting all ressources. He seems to be thirsty for other ressources on earth but he can't find ones .He seems to force his hands into the earth as a sign he's doing too much into progress and he seems to have no limits at the point of not knowing what to do anymore.Mathieu wanted to show how desperatly people are trying to survive progress when they are the reason of the problem.
