PFC XXX, the purpose of this counseling is to inform you of the standard of conduct I will expect from you while you are under my supervision. Failure to meet this standard will result in UCMJ action.

ACCOUNTABILITY: PFC XXX, when a time and place is given to you by an NCO or Officer, you will ensure you will report to said time and place.

APPEARANCE: PFC XXX, you will meet the standards identified in AR 670-1. This means it will be serviceable with no rips, tear or holes, and will fit IAW TM 10-227. Failure to meet this standard will result in UCMJ action.

INSPECTABLE ITEMS: These items will be with you at all times: ID tags, ID card (except PT). Failure to meet this standard will result in UCMJ action.

PHYSICAL TRAINING: PT is something we has professional soldiers must take extremely seriously. We are afforded the time and opportunity to conduct PT on a daily basis, use this time to make yourself better. 180 points on the APFT is the standard IAW AR 350-1. Failure to meet this standard will result in UCMJ action.

JOB PERFORMANCE: PFC XXX, you are now in 1st Squad, 'Service Squad'. It is our job to ensure the vehicles are serviced IAW the service calendar and each manual, respectively. I am here to assist you should you run into any problems while executing a task, feel free to ask anytime you're in a bind. I expect you to execute tasks you are given as quickly and safely as you can.

COMMUNICATION: PFC XXX, you are responsible for providing me with a way to contact you AT ALL TIMES. I understand that there is not a regulation that requires you to have a cell phone, however we are soldiers 24/7 and I must be able to push information to you at any time or in case of emergencies such as Red Cross messages and changes to the schedule.
