In this essay, I am going to be making the comparison between two texts Lollibop festival and Snienton festival dairy where I will be exploring how the writers communicate their ideas and perspective. The Lollibop webpage does not really give you information where as Snienton flyer does.

The two texts have similar comparison they are both advertising festivals. The purpose of the Lollibop webpage is to sell advertises and persuades parents to take their children to the event and also catch the eye of young children unlike Snienton festival dairy the purpose is to inform and allow parents, teens, adults and etc to plan their day out also on the flyer it has dates time and places whereas Lollibop does not have that it only gives you a little taste of information but it gives you different ways for you to get information for example Facebook and twitter.

Firstly the target audience of the Lollibop festival is parents who have young children. The evidence from the image of fun and enjoyable entertainment, for example the clowns who are dancing in the middle of the page near the fountain. They are primary colours like red which are bright and attractive to young children. The clown are juggling and dancing as well which sends out message of fun. This would appeal to parents who have young children because dancing clowns are funny and safe entertainment for young children. Bright colours are more easily noticed by young eye and make clowns stand out and if they stand out, the audience remembers them and won't forget to buy tickets! However the Lollibop festival is different because in the Lollibop festival the designer used a lots of pictures and bright colours and didn't used plenty of writing because the designer/writer knows that children attracts by bright colours and pictures and this make them happy and excited about the festival. The designer also knows that children do not like to read a lot of writing because writing makes them bored and they might ignore the...
