Breaking of the Bread

Verses

22 And as they did eat, Jesus took bread, and blessed, and brake it, and gave to them, and said, Take, eat: this is my body.

Prayer for Breaking of the bread

Dear heavenly father were thankful that were able to come to church to worship you we ask you in the name of your son Jesus Christ, to bless and sanctify this bread to the members of all who receive it that they may eat in remembrance of body of your son.

Verses

23 And he took the cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave it to them: and they all drank of it.

24 And he said unto them, This is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many.

25 Verily I say unto you, I will drink no more of the fruit of the vine, until that day that I drink it new in the kingdom of God.

Prayer for the fruit of the vine

Dear heavenly father were thankful that we were able to come to church to worship you today, to bless and sanctify this fruit of the vine to the individuals of those who receive it, that they may drink in remembrance of the blood of your son which was for many.

Verse

16 Now concerning the collection for the saints, as I have given order to the churches of Galatia, even so do ye.

2 Upon the first day of the week let every one of you lay by him in store, as God hath prospered him, that there be no gatherings when I come.

Prayer for Giving

Dear heavenly father were thankful that we were able to come to church to worship you today, we’re thankful for the many blessings that you bestow upon us. We pray that we give not what a grudgingly heart but a giving heart.
