Subject: Progress report for Off-Campus Manual

Since you have accepted my proposal for making you an off campus manual to find an apartment, I have made great progress towards the completion of the manual. I am following the schedule precisely and the project will be in completion by the due date of November 19. This memo gives you an update on the progress of the project to this day.

Work Completed

To this point, I have completed the following tasks:

▪ I have had a meeting with you to discuss the things you would like to see covered in your document.

▪ After the topics were gathered, I did research on the internet to gather more information to include in the document.

▪ I developed the table of contents that gives an outline to where things will be included in the document.

▪ For future use, I have already purchased the binder and report covers needed to make the document.

Work in Progress

I am currently in the progress of creating the rough draft of the manual. I have included the table of contents in the document, and I have begun to write information on selecting apartments, location and leases and co-signers.

Work Remaining

The work that remains undone consists of completing the document as well as editing once the document is finished.

▪ Finish including the remaining sections of the table of contents in the manual (11/12/09).

▪ Set up a meeting to have you review the rough draft of the outline to discuss any revisions that need to be made (11/13/09).

▪ Correct suggested changes (11/14/09).

▪ Put together the final document with all the necessary changes that needed to be made (11/15/09)

▪ Print out two copies of the document, one to give to you and the other to turn in to my teacher (11/17/09).

Problems Encountered

It is my pleasure to reassure you that I have not encountered any problems to this...
