Annual Report of Gem diamonds

Gem Diamonds is a producer of diamonds of high quality in the world owning several mines among them Ghaghoo mine and Letseng mine in Lesotho. The diamonds are of the most desirable colour that increases the average dollar per carat kimberlite.

The company is seeking to maximize the revenue and margin from its diamonds by enlarging its market and production. The expectation of the company is to get favoured by demand and supply dynamics of the market over short run and long run. This in turn will generate the wealth to the shareholders and the company will grow tremendously.

However, will keenly look at the financial performance of the company to clearly understand its wealth. The results for the financial year ending 31 December, 2012 demonstrated a very efficient and effective operational performance. The production of carats increased the grade of letseng Gem diamond that helped to increase its portfolio. The company is in addition to this monitoring its cash flows and is trying to maximize on each every opportunity to reduce the production costs increasing the quality of the diamonds. This in turn has shown that the returns to the shareholders have really improved contributing to the growth of the company.
