Teddy Anderson at the beginning of the story was a lonely serious young man. He became angry and upset when his sister, Tina, was murder. He didn’t want anything to do with anyone after she died. He never showed how much he cared about her and loved her but he truly did. Teddy knew that Tina was the only person in his family that could understand him, Tina left him alone when she knew he wasn’t feeling good, while everyone else bothered him.

After her death Teddy was sure about finding and killing the person that killed his sister. He tried to find the guy who did it but while he was almost about to get his name the cops came and they took Teddy to jail. Teddy had more anger inside of him than before because he couldn’t go to his sister’s funeral.

When he got out of jail Teddy met a boy named Micah. Micah was a young boy who’s future didn’t look so good. He had gone to jail before, he had all F’s in school and he didn’t have a family. At first Teddy didn’t like Micah and Micah didn’t like Teddy but they started to talk and realize they had something in common. Teddy’s anger began to go down as he spent time with Micah. Teddy cared about Micah very much but he never said it. Micah found out who killed Teddy’s sister but when Teddy’s was with the murderer but Teddy didn’t hurt him because he knew he wasn’t like them.

Micah saw Teddy like a brother to him and so did Teddy. Teddy instead of leaving stayed with his family and he fixed things with them and started all over again with a new member in the family. Micah was adopted by the Anderson’s.
