The EC activities in second life are stores of clothing, furniture, rentals, real estate, art galleries and specialty shops. The clothing stores are for Men’s and women’s clothing shops. The furniture shops are for buying furniture and decorating your house or apartment. Rental shops are for renting anything from boats, cars and houses. The real estate shops help you find land, house or an apartment to buy. There are art galleries where you can observe and buy art. Specialty shops were there like a Halloween store that offered costumes to kids and adults. Some other specialty stores were coffee shops and jewelry stores.

2) Which types of transactions are observate at the site?

“The major type of EC business transactions are business to business, business to consumer, business to business to consumer, consumer to business, intrabusiness EC, business to employee and consumer to consumer” (Turban, 2008, p.8). The types of transactions observed were business to business, business to consumer, business to business to consumer and consumer to consumer. Businesses to business were observed in Second Life. Some of the businesses were real estate businesses that sold property for people or sold property they owned. Businesses to consumer were observed in second life. Some businesses observed were clothing, furniture, rentals, real estate, art galleries and specialty shops. Businesses to business to consumer were observed in second Life. Some business to business to consume observed was real estate businesses. Consumer to consumer businesses were observed in Second Life. Some consumer to consumer businesseses were people selling land, houses and services for sale.
