Abstract

This case study will be a comprehensive analysis of two companies, MRA Associates, Inc. (MRA) and Xecodynamics, a company MRA plans to purchase. The study will be broken down into two parts. Part one will consist of an analysis of the current organizational structure within MRA and whether a change in structure would benefit or hamper productivity and minimize conflict between the regional offices. Part two will consist of an analysis of Xecodynamics’ organizational structure, the pros and cons of acquisition, the challenges involved with a merger of the firms as well as ethical and power issues which will need to be addressed.
