colaCoca Cola was introduced on the market one hundred and twenty six years ago in Atlanta as refreshment to the patrons of a little pharmacy. The Coca Cola Company Limited emerged from an invention to a business by Asa G. Candler. This little taste of heaven was deeply embedded into the minds of the consumer so much that today Coca Cola in a worldwide name which is known to even the smallest mind as a delicious thirst quenching drink. The Coca Cola Company Limited has preserved its image as quality based and this is further imprinted on the consumers’ minds due to the warm feeling associated with the product.

Advertising for Coke was the key element that allowed Coke to become a part of people’s lives because the logos used imprinted in one’s mind due to the originality displayed. This section of the Coca Cola Company Limited was an integral part of the company’s success. The company also realized at an early stage that the cost of advertising was not cheap therefore over the years this budget steadily increased to ensure that the company maintain its competitive advantage over its rivals in the market. To date the polar bear and Santa Claus can be associated with Coke and Christmas because this advertising context appealed to the consumers at this special time of the year.

The Coca Cola Company Limited manufactures and sells its concentrate to its bottling partners but the brand belongs to the Coca Cola Company Limited. The bottling partners of Coke have the responsibility of mixing, bottling, merchandising and distributing the final product. The bottling companies associated with Coke is just as important as the manufacturing sector because both need to work together to achieve the final product.
