Executive Summary

Throughout this report, an analysis of Pizza Hut's information systems was conducted, most notably concerning their inventory replenishment system and their primary transaction processing system. In order to fully survey the implementation of these systems, as well as to gauge their effectiveness, the founding of the organization was examined, in hopes of assessing the needs that provoked the creation of such an innovative set of information systems. Through the analysis of Pizza Hut's information systems, it became clear that the reason they have captured the largest portion of the delivery market share primarily because of their innovative transaction processing system, coupled with their internet based web ordering software....
