You can learn so many interpersonal communication skills but if you do not apply them to your marriage then you might end up getting a divorce. “There are many interpersonal communication skills that will help couples to communicate effectively (Sole, 2011)”. In order for you to understand communication skills and be able to apply them in your marriage. “Effective communication skills enable a couple to express their thoughts and feelings, they are able to effectively listen to their spouse, as well as knowing that that they are being heard and understood (Sole, 2011)”.
