What’s going on in this case? If you were Robin Hood what would you do tomorrow? Robin Hood’s forces are not able to handle growth and it’s causing them to lose money and resources. If I were Robin Hood I would either downsize the group or change the way I accept new members.

What’s Robin’s Mission? What business is Robin Hood in? His mission is to make sure the group is disciplined and united. He is the ruler of the merry men.

1. Do Robin Hood and his men need a new mission? New Objectives? A new Strategy? They need a new strategy, they need to either downsize the group or expand to other regions. Instead of just accepting anyone they could have some specific requirements.

2.What alternative does Robin Hood have? Evaluate them. Some alternatives would be to kill the sheriff, accept Prince John’s invitation. Robin Hood could also expand his group to other areas.

3. What Strategy would you recommend? Improving the recruitment.

4. How would you implement this strategy? Making sure people who want to join the group have a required set of skills.

5. Create a SWOT for his merry band.

Strength’s – Good leadership, well disciplined, the band is growing, and well trained soldiers.

Weaknesses- Due to the growth of the group resources became scarce, and they are losing money.

Opportunities - Imposing a tax to create more revenue. Robin Hood could accept the invitation to join the barons.

Threats- The sheriff, Robin Hood’s band is getting weaker while the sheriff is getting stronger. Travelers are avoiding the forest.
