THREE DAYS OF FOOD INTAKE

GET ON THE RIGHT TRACK

STANLEY MCSHAN

Knowing your daily intake is very important to your day to day living. When I recorded my intake for three days I was pleased in most areas but knew that I needed to improve in others. My lipids were 44%, protein 15%, and carbohydrates at 41%. T he foods that provided protein was the croissant’wich with sausage and cheese, kfc hot wings and the breaded flounder. My lipids were kfc hot wings the flounder and the croissan’wich. Carbohydrates were the same intake as the other two. After reviewing my protein, carbohydrates, and lipid intake and my activity journal I was doing okay. The only thing that was not meeting to standards was my carbohydrate and based on my medical situation that is ok. So I think that I did not have to add or delete any thing at this point.

Protein is very important, and in each of my group it was in allowance with the scale. So I had a good balance in that area. I achieved 20-35% in my lipids, 45-65% in my carbohydrates, and 10-35% in my proteins. I really thought that these numbers was not that bad and I was not surprised at all but I know I need to do a little better in other areas. I really make and effort to eat right and continue with a good exercise program.
