RE: InterClean - EnviroTech Merger

With the merger of InterClean and the EnviroTech organizations, this is an exciting time for all of us. As we transition and adapt to a new organizational structure, it is important that we maintain a work environment that is productive and also high in morale. There are many changes on the horizon and as the managerial staff, we must take into consideration how information is relayed to our sales employees, and how that information can affect out overall productivity.

As your immediate Manager and Point of contact, I want to provide some examples of behavior that can be counter productive and contribute to low work place morale:

Counter Negative Rumors: It is important that negative rumors concerning job loss or any loss in pay or changes in sales compensation be dispelled. A high level of communication must be maintained as it is important that employees understand how they will be affected by changes. Dispel false information quickly before it spreads.

Avoid Personal Opinions: Refrain from providing negative personal opinions on the status of the merger or either organization involved. We must all maintain a business focus and ensure employees that these changes were necessary for both companies’s to build and maintain a successful presence in our industry.

I challenge each of you to avoid these behaviors and assist in making the transition to the new organization as seamless as possible.

During this time of change, I feel it is also important to revisit management actions and how they align or do not align with current employment laws.
