Why I became part of the team:

When I was thinking of my Master Degree, I knew I have to find a university, which has an international focus. So I was signing up for Hult International Business School. Since I want to work in an international company at some point after my graduation, getting to now all kind of people from other cultures, it is really important for my future to work with international teams.

The day I became part of my “team”:

On my first day at Hult I already knew that is exactly what I was looking for. We got separated into groups in order to get to know each other, combined with a treasure hunt. I loved, how all of us where different and had different stories to tell. We worked well as a team and I thought this would be my team for the module A.

MY TEAM:

The day after day one I received a mail, attached an excel sheet, which separated us into new teams, the real teams for the Toolbox. When I read the names, I was scared, but at the same time excited. None of them sounded European, all of them sounded really international, different to the names I am used to. The next day I was in class figuring out, how to find my group consisting of Abubakar, which is Nigerian, Ibnu an Indonesian guy, Abilash from India and the other girl Taylor from America, supplemented by myself from Austria. It was easier than I thought to find each other, since I met Taylor already at the Treasure hunt. So we all got together and tried to share our stories. Me and Taylor, both really outgoing, with their heart on their tongues started sharing our background with the group. I don’t feel uncomfortable, talking about me as a person, but I knew that the guys did. That is why I started to state, that I am very happy to have such a nice group and that I was really scared of meeting all of them and that it happens to me, that I act shy, when I meet new people, I don’t feel confortable with, even though I do not really mind.
