How to Be a Manager

For many, knowing how to manage and the criteria that comes with managing is quite necessary if you want to be the number one manager of a company. I have learned in these 4 months that Management consists of a number of important ways to be a quality person in management. Along with knowing how to be good at managing, you have to know how to overcome challenges that being a manager hands to you.

Much of what I am going to take from this class is going to help me top the others and become number one by using the various ways to manage as we have learned and discussed. There are numerous methods to help achieve being a top company manager. Planning, organizing, leading, and controlling are easy ways for me to follow in being a great manager. I have learned that every choice you make while being a manager is important to your company no matter how big or small it is. If you are not the CEO of a company and someone notices a decision made by you is a poor one, word can get around real quick. Then if that decision made results in a loss of revenue, then you might just be fired from your job. I hope I can take my job as the manager and help that company I will be with in the future to and make it the most it can be.

As you may know, my part of our final project was done on pollution and what companies are controlling pollution, and what companies are not controlling pollution leading them to having a bad reputation. I am all about protecting what we have and protecting our environment for today and the generations to come. Sustainability, which is also known as going green, is what I am going to incorporate into my executive decision making as a manager. This would help my company save money and let it be used for more important reasons such as opening a new store or using the money to give employees more training.
