Summary: This article gives a reason behind the sprawl, according to this source one of the main reasons for the fast expansion of Las Vegas was due to the cities gambling economy. “Less than half of the cities revenue now comes from the tables” said a source, this give us a concept of how important the gambling business is for this cities’ economy. The gambling business attracts nearly 40 million visitors a year to give a perspective of its size.
