Leadership Traits

Leadership is very important stepping stone in any organization. It has been known that certain traits are required to be able to qualify to be a candidate in the position. Expertise in the particular field or even the positive background of the individual will set their foot right in the door for opportunity. For instance, in a work environment where it’s required to do customer service, of the course experience has to be established from the candidate in questions. This discussion will provide an understanding of President Barack Obama and the traits as a leader that is most important in the creation of sound public policies.

According to research, Barack made it through College with the assistance of student loans and paid scholarships. After completing his college years, he moved to the City of Chicago that allowed him to express his ability to work with people by getting into churches and resolving issues with the hardship of the organization that he worked with. In 2009, President Obama has been elected as the President of the United States. This particular election created conflict as oppose to a debate between the two parties. The arguments were more focused on the type of background the candidate had on a racial standpoint, but not the fact that his educational background and his reference from working in the Government field already.

Overtime, Barack picked up a belief in uniting people or the community of politics of purpose. In the Illinois State Senate, he passed the first major ethics reform in 25 years, cut taxes for working families, and expanded health care for children and their parents. As a United States Senator, he reached across the aisle to pass groundbreaking lobbying reform, lock up the world's most dangerous weapons, and bring transparency to government by putting federal spending online (Whitehouse 2014)).
