A worldview is how you see the world. It is something that you are passionate about in your heart, soul, and mind. Many people may not know how or why they feel the ways that they do, or how they developed their perceptions, only that those are the ways that they were taught. God has given us an incredible gift throughout the Bible that provides us with the tools and knowledge that we need in order to live a life full of blessing and grace.

Natural World

Romans teaches that the natural world and everything in existence was created by God. It is stated that all of God’s righteousness, his power, and his godliness have been clearly portrayed to this world. It says in Romans 1:20 that, “For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities, his eternal power and divine nature have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse” (NIV) Believing in the Word of the Bible means believing that God created all things of this world and knowing that what he spoke is the truth. God will give everyone the opportunity to know him and accept him, as well as Jesus Christ, into our hearts and lives. Those that choose not to do so, will eventually have to be called in to judgment and endure the fate that they have ultimately chosen by denying the power and greatness of God.

Human Identity

For many, finding our human identity is a challenge, Romans tells us that all of mankind starts out as sinners. Our identity is not to be defined by the good deeds we do in life, but by our faith and relationship with Jesus. “The answer to mankind’s dilemma is that God’s righteousness is revealed to man through the gospel, bringing salvation by faith” (Illustrated Bible Survey p. 417) Jesus Christ died on the cross, so that man may be saved from our inevitable sin. Throughout Romans, it is affirmed that we are not worthy as individuals, nor as a whole to receive the glory that God so willingly gave to us. Romans 5:3 says, “…but we...
