During a crisis of epic proportions such as a big earthquake a hurricane or flood ,the economic system best suited for handling a disaster would be a Utopian/Christian Socialism. There are many other economic systems to choose from but as I read about the others I see how much more control that the government has on not just food and natural resources but on the people as a whole and I think it would be easy for the government to just try and stick it to those people suffering if they wanted to. Utopian Socialism is a vision of a people living in harmony or fusion and the ideal of progressively moving towards this goal is based on positivity. Utopian Socialist do not believe that there is a need for class’s or believe that there is a need for revolution to bring/unite the people together. Looking into this economic class I believe this is the best class suited for a catastrophic event.

In the case of this disaster I believe that if everyone was a utopian it would bring forth the best in everyone and there would be no question on who or when or what was going to help out. Everyone would help out and move resources and do what they had to do to help out the man/women next to them. The people would rise up together around the world/nation to make sure there fellow man was taken care of. Pushing whatever resources needed to the place this disaster was and making sure even if they had a little less that the people suffering could have enough to survive and get back on their feet. Everyone would be staying on that positive path that would lead back to happiness. With everyone pushing towards this idea of a utopian there wouldn’t be any reason to worry about how much it was going to cost or who was going to pay for it. Everyone would help and in return when something happen where they lived they would be helped. This would happen because of the belief’s people had and not because a government made people do things because they owned them.

A strictly Socialist society...
