Provide a brief ( one paragraph ) description of the organization you chose to research

Google Inc. is an American organization. Larry Page and Sergey Brin founded Google in

September 1998. Since then, the company has grown to more than 30,000 employees worldwide,

with a management team that represents some of the most experienced technology professionals

in the industry.( google.com/about/company/facts/management/). Google business is based on

Internet services and these include search, Software and everything is relating to internet. In the

beginning Google was a privet company owned by a small group of people. In August 19th 2004

Google have introduced its shares in initial primary public offering, and it got 16.67 billion

dollars. The company continued prosperity its success by offering new products, and made

several acquisition for other companies. For example, in 2006 Google acquired the keyhole Inc.

This company had developed a product called Earth viewer, but Google re-launched it under the

name of Google Earth. Also, Google made many partnerships with other organizations. For

instance, in order to develop its research for video films, Google made a partnership with AOL

which is a subsidiary of Time Warner Inc. The company ranked first in the evaluation of the best

companies conducted by the magazine "Fortune". Also, Google considered as one of the

strongest brands in the world.

2.Examine the culture of the selected organization

Nowadays every company has a specific culture and that culture decide which manners and

work style a company will follow its business. What is an organizational culture? A culture is

the milieu that surrounds employees in the work place. The culture is an important factor that

determine work environment .Another definition of organizational culture is the shared beliefs

and values that influence the behavior of organizational members. (Schermerhorn, J.R.2012, p9)
