The ACME Home Improvement is presented with the opportunity start a joint venture with the locals of Mexico City. An ACME Home improvement store in Mexico City can capture a piece of the hardware and construction material market. The goal of ACME Home Improvement is to successfully manage the construction site of a 100,000 square foot indoor space and a 10,000 square foot outdoor garden. Depending upon the success of the ACME Home improvement store, there will be an opportunity to leverage new ACME stores in other parts of the world. The Home Depot is one of the hardware industry leaders has aggressively expanded its presence in Mexico through acquisition since March 20, 2002, “the company has already double its presence in Mexico by signing agreement to acquire Del Norte, a four store chain in Juarez, Mexico” (Blaisdell Consulting, 2015).
