A) Describe Lawn Care’s current strategic mission and competitive priorities.

Lawn Care’s current strategic mission focuses on quality and innovation. Like Caroline Ebelhar, the vice president of manufacturing for The Lawn Care Company said “we make the highest-quality grass seed and fertilizer in the world” and “Our brands are known everywhere”. This is another competitive advantage. The Lawn Care Company providing “the right product to the right customer at the right time” then their job is done.

The Lawn Care Company needs focus on not only producing the best products but also on the service of applying and planting these products.

B) What does it perceive as the order qualifiers and order winners given the way it competes?

The company perceives best products, and their direct delivery to be the order winner for the company. They provide what customers expect which is high quality seed and fertilizer. Their competitors consider the installation they proved to be the order winner, in that it sets them apart from their competition.
