FINAL EXAMINATION IN PRINCIPLES AND PROBLEMS

IN EDUCATIONAL MANAGEMENT OF MINERVA Z. BALLAD

I have been in the teaching profession for sixteen years. My first five years was a struggle. There were times when I wanted to quit because of the pressures in paper works, pupils misbehavior, school head’s high expectations and many other things that an ordinary teacher has to do. I was able to survived those difficulties for another ten years, and now that I’m on my sixteenth year I have experienced a lot. Those learning experiences made me a better teacher. I can now say that I am now enjoying the fruit of my labor. I see myself now as an effective and efficient teacher and a manager as well.

At present, I am now handling the second section of the thirty-two sections of grade one pupils in Nagpayong Elementary School. It is a great challenge on my part to produce pupils who can qualify and be promoted in the first section. Most of my pupils are average, I need to be resourceful, use varied teaching techniques, and give my very best in my daily teaching to attained my goal/objectives.

To attained my daily objectives successfully I need to use the available materials suited to the needs of my pupils. I have to ensure the proper use of the school facilities as well. They must experience all the services that our school offers them. These services contribute for better learning.

They say that “You’re not a teacher until your pupil learned. Pupils report card shows the ability and progress of the learner and serves as evidence and basis of their promotion. The new K-12 Curriculum Grading System is the best instrument in measuring the capabilities of the pupils. Our issuance of report cards is near. I hope and pray that my pupils will be very happy upon knowing their progress in school and so with their parents.
