1.0 MAS HOLDINGS
MAS Holdings is one of Sri Lanka’s largest apparel manufacturers and employing more than 34,450 people in 21 factories in 10 countries. Each year, MAS manufactures 44 million bras and is Victoria’s Secret’s largest supplier. The Annual revenues are US$570 million.
The company is owned entirely by the Amalean family and privately -held. Chairman Mahesh Amalean is the eldest son of five children which held the CEO title until 2004. The current CEO and Deputy Chairman is middle brother which is Sharad who had previously been the CFO. The youngest brother which is Ajay is Director of the Corporate Solutions division and also handles the creative Marketing and Design aspects of the business and oversees MAS Finance and Human Resources functions.
