Naom Klein knew climate change is happening, but she wasn’t very focus on the details and only scan through most of the articles. We think the same way that science is a lot more complex and professions are solving it. We would look at the newspaper, worry and remember for couple days, but then we forget about it until the next shocking article comes up. Because we often comfort ourselves or too busy with our own lives and hope expert will find a way to turn down the heat of the sun. Naomi Klein increased her awareness and desire for action by meeting with a woman named Angelica Navarro LIanos, she explained that climate change is a threat but also an opportunity for her country named Bolivia. Naomi Klein began to understand how climate change could become a galvanizing force for humanity, safer from life-threatening weather and societies become harmless and fairer as well. Angelica Navarro LIanos gave Naomi Klein a copy of the speech that she did at a United Nations climate conference, explained Marshall Plan for the Earth is needed for getting technology onto the ground to ensure we reduce the productions while raising people’s quality of life and mass movement of regular people are required for this plan. After meeting with her, Naomi Klein is not afraid engaging in the scientific reality of the climate change, start reading everything she could and start seeing climate change could become a catalyzing for positive change.
