Human Resources Management Essay

Introduction

Human Resources Management (HRM) is the set of practices used to manage, mobilize and develop human resources involved in the activity of an organization. These human resources are all employees of all statutes belonging to the organization but also bound to it by relations of subjection. Initially this feature is heard in an operational perspective. This is to administer a staff that can be numerically large and divided into different levels of hierarchy or qualifications. In a second hand, the function acquires a more functional dimension. This is to improve the cross-communication between services and processes and implement a development of employees throughout their stay in the organization. This essay deals with French and Polish Human Resources Management. We compare both country ways in order to understand how French organizations could be successful by adapting their “HRM” in attracting and attaining talents in Poland. In order to better understand the differences between these two countries, we apply to a specific case of a French company that would attract future Polish employees. Therefore, I have chosen “Agri-Video-System” which is a French company providing CCTV camera system.

Employment in the polish civil service is ruled through rules of administration to the civil service as well as the principles of its organization, functioning and development. Meantime France system is divided in two categories: civil servants, who are regulated by the civil statute, and other public employees who are employed under public or private law according to the post.
