1. Why is IHH considered to be digital enterprise?

I think, that IHH considered to be digital enterprise to reduce time of decision making (connected with patients treatment) and to manage hospital efficiently, thereby increase services’ quality and profitability. Implementation of hospital information system allows to storage both historical and real-time data, it helps to make quick decision on what treatment or tests the patient needs. The hospital communications and collaboration systems eliminate delays in the supply chain. Doctors and other employees can consult each other, make quicker joint decisions and locate experts quickly when needed. Such automation of processes and information systematization assist in saving people lives.

2. In what ways can a digital hospital help with compliances?

According to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) website, Title I of HIPAA protects health insurance coverage for workers and their families when they change or lose their jobs. Title II of HIPAA, known as the Administrative Simplification (AS) provisions, requires the establishment of national standards for electronic health care transactions and national identifiers for providers, health insurance plans, and employers. I don’t know exact answer on this question, but I can suppose that IHH will operate in framework of national standards for electronic health care transactions and security and privacy of health data.
