Job Purpose

The Inside Sales Executive (ISE-EPG) is the primary Microsoft sales contact for a portfolio of

commercial or public sector Enterprise & Partner Group (EPG). The ISE-EPG is a strategic

sales role intended to add value to customers by demonstrating how Microsoft technology

can help solve operational concerns and positively impact the customer’s business or

organization.

The ISE-EPG is responsible for account management, lead generation, opportunity

qualification and closed revenue targets against the accounts in their territory. This role

drives both revenue and customer satisfaction. Through consistent account engagement and

detailed profiling of each account, the ISE-EPG delivers well-qualified opportunities to the

right Microsoft partner and engages other Microsoft resources as necessary to meet each

customer’s needs.

The successful ISE-EPG is enthused by a fast-paced selling environment, cares deeply about

the customer, and whose attention to detail uncovers opportunities.

Job Profile

The Inside Sales Executive - EPG allows Microsoft to better serve the customers in the

Enterprise & Partner Group segment. This role is dedicated to increasing revenue and

improving customer satisfaction through account management working in tandem with

Microsoft partners.

The ISE-EPG is unique from other roles in its ability to meet or exceed sales and customer

satisfaction objectives by working with customers with no direct face-to-face interaction.

When focused on the Public Sector, this role is unique in its knowledge of large-sized Public

Sector organizations.

The key initiatives or challenges that an ISE-EPG may face are:

a) Increased focus on revenue growth and EA penetration in each ISE-EPG’s

portfolio of accounts;

b) Understanding Microsoft’s cloud strategy and articulating its benefits to all

customers;
