Throughout the reading I can spot many problems off the back. First of all, illegal forced prostitution or involuntary prostitution. Forced prostitution is a crime against the person because of the violation of the victim's rights of movement through coercion and because of their commercial exploitation. Involuntary prostitution is illegal in most countries, this is different from voluntary prostitution because some countries allow this act to happen while others give out the death penalty. The two females stated that they were being forced to have sex with the farm laborers to attempt to persuade them to join the farm labor union. Sexual assault and extortion are some problems dealing with this case. The Union is forcible using these girls to gain interest from the farm laborers. Lastly, the biggest problem I see throughout the passage is the supervisor giving instructions to not help the two victims through these criminal cases. You are working for a Victim witness service program there should be no reason why you wouldn't help these individuals.

If I were in this situation, I would go straight to the police officials with this case and try to keep in contact with the females just to insure safety to them. It is my job to help these individuals so I believe why wouldn't I help them. Even though your supervisor continues to state you have to let that case go I will continue behind his/her back to help. The only thing wrong with this situation is you may be out of a job if you continue to help these individuals. This whole situation with the farm union is messed up because people try to get help but the companies that are suppose to help them work for the same companies causing the crimes. I believe the only way this can be fixed is to spread knowledge of these companies and any other companies contributing to illegal acts as such. The more people know about these acts the faster it will be fixed and more individuals wont be scared to share their...
