Alyeska Essay

My trip to Alyeska was one to remember. I had only been there once before, and I didn't spend much time inside the lodge. The day lodge is a place where you can get food, drinks, rent equipment, get stuff at the store or just relax after a long day on the slopes. It is a very interesting place and there was a lot of different people there doing so many different stuff. One guy had broke his bindings on his snowboard and he came in and asked if it was possible to fix them, but it wasn’t. So he ended up just buying a new pair of bindings and was back on the slope in no time. I thought this guy must be pretty rich if he would just buy a new pair of bindings as if it was nothing, because the kind of binding he bought was pretty expensive. I also saw a family there together that sat at a table across from me. The half day session was just ending and I bet you they where there all afternoon. There was a mom and a dad, and they had two sons. One looked to be around twelve, and the other was around eight. The younger brother looked to be tired and grumpy. He was being bothered by his older brother and he didn't like it at all. The older brother kept stealing his little brother’s glove and hiding it from him in his jacket. The little brother finally got tired of it and started to punch and wrestle his older brother. Before for things got out of hand their dad came in and separated them and took them outside. I am guessing they left after that because I didn't see them again.

The night session was just starting and I could smell a lot of different stuff in the room. I could smell some fresh coffee being brewed and it smelt delicious. Just the smell of it woke me up a little and gave me a little energy. I was also smelling some kind of chicken that was being cooked at a different shop that smelled really good. So I went over to ask the cook at The Rickshaw dining shop what kind of chicken he was making and he said it was teriyaki Chicken rice bowl....
