These days almost anyone can be a boss at a job. However,

not everyone can be a vigorous and efficient leader. One woman

that comes to mind when I hear the phrase strong and effective

leader, her name is Rhonda Hendrix. Mrs. Rhonda has been

climbing the bank ladder for many years. Like me, she started off

as a bank teller and over time she has become one of the most

valuable employees due to her leadership skills.

One of Mrs. Rhonda's leadership skills includes

influencing. Influencing is when Mrs. Rhonda communicates with

other followers within the bank about ideas regarding improving

the bank's performance and customer service. She then inspires

the members to support and apply the ideas through change.

What makes Mrs. Rhonda such a great leader is that she

is always seeking input from all of the employees at the bank.

Employees and the citizens of the community trust Mrs. Rhonda

and her ideas, it is because of her true soul. Rhonda lives her life

by being sincere and having integrity. It shows in her

career, fundraising events, and even with her family.

Of course with every great leader, failure is lurking behind

every corner. Working for Rhonda, she never made excuses when

an idea failed. Instead, she would take the blame and go back to

the drawing table to come up with new ideas to fix the problem. It

goes back to being trustworthy.

Rhonda taught me to be a well-rounded employee. She

had confidence in my work ethic and my ability to grow as a

young adult, which in returned made me feel appreciated. To this

day and in the future, I will always look up to Mrs. Rhonda for

that she is an all-around woman I strive to become one day.

One of the many things I enjoyed while I worked for Mrs.

Rhonda was her dedication to implementing a performance

management meeting with her employees. Performance
