Assessment 1: Online quizzes x 6 (40%)

Overview

The online quizzes (8 in number) will examine content learned from reading the textbook, attending the lecture and after completing the Study Plan Builder. The quiz will consist of multiple choice questions and other forms of objective assessment.

A minimum of 6 quizzes must be attempted. Please see vUWS for details. Failure to attempt a minimum of six quizzes will result in a grade of AF (fail non submission) as it is the threshold required.

The online quizzes are marked online. These adhere to the following rules:

* Six quizzes from eight available quizzes must be attempted

* Four highest quiz marks to be used for the final mark (@10% each = 40% total)

* Each quiz will contain 20 questions (randomised from test bank) and drawn from the relevant chapter/topic covered in the module under examination

* Each quiz will remain open for a week and students will be allowed two attempts and a total of 45 minutes to complete the quiz. Quizzes will not be re-opened if you miss completing them in the time specified.

All quizzes will be open for a week starting from Sunday-Sunday. They will not be re-opened, it is your responsibility to ensure that you complete them in the time frame provided. You will also need to complete the Dynamic Study Module as a prerequisite to completing the assessable quiz.
