Many human resource managers are facing big challenges in the workplace due to keeping up with competitive companies in today's local and global market. Managing top talent in HR's
The European Association of Personnel Management (EAPM 2007) believe European companies will face major human resource challenges in the future according to Managing top talent is HR's (Sutton: Jun 26, 2007). However, the biggest challenge in this article was The Managing Talent. Managing Talent shortages loom in Europe and in new markets abroad. There are numerous of European companies moving to places that has superior educational systems such as India. This move is done in order to gain access to more talented people.
A survey was taken of more than 1,350 executives from 27 countries in Europe to prove that managing talent was the most critical challenge and it was conducted by managers of human resources of The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) and the European Association for Personnel Management (EAPM) (2007). There was a need to focus their talent on basic HR duties such as recruiting and hiring because the survey found that executives outside of HR are much more likely to approve of the performance of their HR department if the department masters basic HR activities (2007)). Many European companies were involved. Respondents represented 27 countries and relevant industries.
