Islamic geometric patterns were one of the main methods for the Islamic artists and painters to convey their art for the reason that Islamic principles forbid drawings of the living creatures for that reason the Islamic artists used mathematics and geometry to create these defined, précised and detailed patterns which most of the time represented plants, flowers and leaves, in addition to their precision Islamic patterns embody the relation between one and infinity which is what the Islam is based on the infinity of God. The Islamic artists recognized that by using mathematics and geometry it will be easy to repeat one motif of any shape over a large area, like walls in castles and mosques, at this point we could notice the first and most obvious connection between the geometric Islamic patterns and computer compatible design program, which is the simplicity of accomplishing many different and complex patterns, through these design programs, by repeating simple design. Second, computer design programs are the easiest technique to create such defined and précised geometric patterns without the need for using any complicated mathematical calculations or any measurement tools, used for drawing defined shapes like the star.
