Audience Analysis Paper

Effective communication in the business world must be mastered in order to make every effort in an aggressive marketplace. To address the quarterly sales, the Economy Company calls an in-person conference with all parties involved internally or externally with the company. In order to correspond efficiently with the group, an audience analysis is required to seize the spectator’s awareness. This essay is projected to evaluate the audience’s characteristics, communication channels, and a mixture of approaches to convey an effective message. The narrator should have the ability to recognize the quarterly sales report conveys differently depending on the individual(s) reviewing the documents. The spokesperson should also have presentations and demonstrations that vary based off the diversity filled audience (Locker & Kienzler, 2008).

Audience Characteristics

When interacting with a substantial number of individuals, a presenter must be willing to do his or her research to better understand the audience and the needs to the group. The speaker must also be able to manage the audience by dictating when questions are asked and permitting responses at the precise times throughout the meeting to maintain control. Being informative and having accurate information about the standpoint of the company, while predicting what questions might be asked helps in making the meeting of a company successful. For instance, if the quarterly sales illustrates the Economy Company has been unsuccessful in meeting their targeted goals, he or she will be prepared and capable in supplying the company’s members with the required material and numbers to show where the company needs to be in relations to where they are at.
