Since the attacks in 2001 every facet of our lives has been affected. Wall Street and investment firms took the brunt of the hit and were left struggling to keep their clients trust. Frank Jeffers, CEO of Intersect Investments recognizes that in order to grow, a strategic shift needs to take place. Frank has a new vision that he hopes will build long term relationships. This paper will discuss the organizational change through change management that Intersect Investments will need to go through in order to realize their goal of survival (Scenario: Intersect Investments, 2012).

Situation Analysis

Issue and Opportunity Identification

Intersect Investments has been struggling ever since the devastation of 2001. They have struggled to survive and the CEO, Frank Jeffers, has a new vision to provide a broad set of products and services to consumer and small business customers using a model of customer intimacy that he hopes will build long term relationships based on trust and value to the customer (Scenario: Intersect Investments, 2012). With a new vision, comes issues but it also can bring opportunities. Frank was forced to let the Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing go because she continually failed to meet his objectives (Scenario: Intersect Investments, 2012). II is being met with several issues: 1) Management not being on board with the vision of the CEO, 2) High employee turnover rate, and 3) Declining customer base.
