Introduction

Dunkin' Donuts is an America’s doughnut and coffee retailer founded in 1950. It’s a leading company in the F&B(food and beverage) industry of the world as the company has more than 10,000 restaurants ( 6700 in the United States) in 32 countries worldwide. Its star products are originally doughnuts, bagel and muffin categories as it has more than a thousand of donut varieties, however, it also gains a huge success on coffee sales, which nowadays has become more than 50% shares of its business. In the last year, Dunkin' Donuts' global system-wide sales were $6 billion.

The food and beverage industry, which comprises food production, distribution, retail and sale was valued at $5.7 trillion USD in 2008. The industry is one of the major contributors to growth of all economies and has historically witnessed consistent growth.
